Ghaleb Hawila (1992 – ) is a Lebanese calligrapher, artist and graphic designer.
He has studied calligraphy for several of the recognized masters. Hawila is fascinated by the timelessness of Arabic calligraphy, but wants to approach it from a modern perspective. He allows his own identity and history to be transformed into a visual language. Hawila has participated in several exhibitions both in the Arab world and in Europe, e.g. Urban Art Biennale in Berlin.
