Amer Bader was born in Baghdad 1975. He studied painting at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad 1997, then he completed his studies at the College of Fine Arts Baghdad 2001.
In 2010 he moved to the Netherlands where he lives and works there.
He hield several personal and group exhibitions in the Netherlands, Europe and in the medial East.
His painting is a reflection of the memories and the feelings he lived during his childhood back in Iraq.
He focused in his works on the social, human side of life and his last works express the terrible effects of war on people, countries and the suffering it causes to humans.
