Alaa Rashid is an actor, singer and musician from Iraq who has worked on several television and theater productions in the Middle East, Europe and Sweden.
He has a masters degree from Teaterhögskolan in Malmö.
Since 2013, he has been working with theater JaLaDa, a theater group that specializes in multilingual performances for children and young people. The theater group is active throughout Skåne and is based in Malmö.
